Coming from a strong cultural and religious background, Rudson was in constant fear of persecution, rejection, and abandonment because of his sexuality.
From childhood, he created an elaborate plan to make an alter-ego to keep that fear of persecution at bay. Until those two alter-worlds are heading at each other for a head-on-collision.
